1.3 Removing temporary coatings
Application: Removing temporary coating, protective tape/adhesive and polyethylene film from aluminium panels, composite helicopter blades and other surfaces.
Current method: Scraping and sanding plastic coatings ; heat gun, slitting and hand pulling tape, then hand wiping with solvents to remove adhesive.
Dissatisfactions: Labor intensive and slow, high cost and liabilities of chemicals and contaminated waste disposal.
Benefits of CRYONOMIC® cleaning:
