8.1 Processing Plastic and Fiberglass Materials
Application:
Removing plastic and fiberglass resin from tooling and production equipment.
Current method:
Items are heated and hand cleaned in place or removed and cleaned in chemical baths/beds.
Dissatisfactions:
Machine downtime ; labor intensive and slow ; cost and liability of chemical and contaminated waste disposal.
