The CRYONOMIC® equipment are safe and user-friendly machines. Nevertheless there are some safety rules that have to be respected while using them.
  1. Contact of the CO2 pellets with the skin should be avoided, as the low temperature of the pellets can burn the skin and cause tissue injury. Never hold CO2 pellets in your bare hands.


  2. One should never point the nozzle at a person and utmost caution is required whenever there are people near the jobsite. CO2 pellets leaving the CRYONOMIC® equipment may deflect within a ray of 100 feet from the nozzle.


  3. Never use the CRYONOMIC® equipment on any other kind of material but on the one that has to be cleaned.


  4. Protective clothing should be worn while working. The body should be totally protected. Clothing will consist of several layers and will of protect against the cold. There should be no pockets or creases in it, to prevent CO2 pellets from fall into them.


  5. One should never work without wearing ear and eye protection and gloves protecting against the cold.


  6. One should never work in a closed room that is not well ventilated. Depending on the circumstances outside and on the size of the room, carbon dioxide can quickly displace the oxygen from the atmosphere.


  7. Never use the CRYONOMIC® equipment without first having read the operating instructions. Should there be any questions, please do not hesitate to contact nv ARTIMPEX.


  8. The CRYONOMIC® equipment must never be used by unqualified or unskilled workers.


  9. Any other person who is situated within the range of the CRYONOMIC® equipment should respect the safety and clothing rules as mentioned above.


  10. One should never store CO2 pellets in a hermetically sealed receptacle.


  11. One should never store CO2 pellets in a cavity, a cellar or a closed room.


  12. Make sure the CO2 pellets are kept away from children.


  13. One should never mix CO2 pellets into liquids.
